We supply rooflights, upstands and tubular daylighting systems to the trade in Belgium, the Netherlands and France.

That is a narrow business, deliberately. We do not sell everything for a roof. We sell the part of it that lets daylight in, and we sell it to people who are going to install it — roofers, contractors, and the architects who specify it before either of them gets involved.

The reason for the focus is that daylighting is a category where the wrong decision is expensive and the right decision is not obvious. A rooflight is a hole in a building's weather envelope with a warranty attached. It has to sit on the right upstand, at the right height for the roof build-up, with glazing that meets whatever the specification asks of it. Get one of those wrong and you find out on the roof, with the access already paid for.

So the catalogue is built to be checked rather than browsed: every product addressed by its Kingspan article number, declared values and datasheets on the product page rather than behind an enquiry form, and sizes you can confirm without ringing anyone.

Being authorised matters more in this category than the phrase usually suggests. The certification and the warranty on a rooflight both depend on the product being exactly what the datasheet describes. Buying through an authorised route means the article number on your invoice matches the article number on the documentation, and a warranty claim goes to the manufacturer rather than into an argument about where the unit came from.

Every figure has a source. Performance data on this site is as declared by the manufacturer. Where a value your calculation needs is not published, we get it confirmed rather than estimating it — and if it does not exist, we say so. You will not find invented review scores or round-number stock claims here, because a supplier who rounds up the easy numbers is not one you should trust with a U-value.

We tell you when the answer is no. Some openings cannot take the product you were hoping for. Some windowless rooms cannot be solved with a tube. Some problems that look like a failed rooflight are a failed flashing, and replacing the unit will not fix them. Saying so costs us the occasional order and saves you the occasional second visit to a roof.

We supply; we do not install or design. Guidance on this site is here to help you make your own decision. It is not a design service, and where your roofing specification differs from our general guidance, the specification governs.

Plain language. Datasheets are technical because they have to be. Everything we write around them does not. If a page here uses a term without explaining it, that is a fault in the page.

We are based in Sint-Niklaas and deliver across all three markets. Delivering somewhere else is usually arrangeable but needs quoting rather than assuming — ask before you order.

This site is currently in English. Dutch and French versions are being prepared, and are not being switched on until they have been reviewed by native technical speakers rather than run through a translation engine. In a category where Rw,p and URC mean specific things, an approximate translation is worse than none.
