Solatube® products are covered by a manufacturer's warranty against defects in workmanship and materials, running from the date of purchase.

Warranty periods

  • 10 years — domes, roof flashing bases, diffusers, ceiling mountings, reflective tubing, seals, gaskets and fasteners
  • 5 years — Light Add-On Kit, Ventilation Add-On Kit, Daylight Dimmer and related components
  • 5 years — Solar Electric NightLight, solar panel and LEDs

What is not covered

  • Labour or installation
  • Defects arising from installation that does not follow the manufacturer's instructions
  • Damage from improper handling or cleaning, accidents or misuse
  • Condensation and any resulting water damage
  • Components not manufactured or supplied by Solatube

This manufacturer's warranty applies in addition to your statutory rights. Under EU law, consumers have a minimum two-year legal guarantee of conformity, which is not affected by anything stated here.
